Although the company retains and reflects its rich history, tradition and ingenuity, Lake Asphalt is continuously involved in cutting edge asphalt research and development having the potential to revolutionize the very industry in which it operates. Every year, as part of the company's ongoing marketing and communications strategy, Lake Asphalt produces a company calendar that is distributed to both existing and potential clients and stakeholders both locally and abroad. Lake Asphalt chose Converge Creative to design its 2005 Calendar to reinforce the company's brand image while enhancing brand awareness and recall for Lake Asphalt products. Our vision for this project was to design a calendar that would effectively showcase the diverse range of products that Lake Asphalt produces as well as illustrate the many countries around the world where Lake Asphalt products are used today. We realized this vision by designing a front cover based on the product life cycle of Trinidad Lake Asphalt (TLA), a core product of the company, by integrating a back cover design based on showcasing Lake Asphalt's client locations around the world using a world map, and by transforming each individual calendar page into an individual product showcase. The result was a calendar that serves double duty as an effective marketing tool for Lake Asphalt. Today, Lake Asphalt continues to develop and produce new and innovate products. Converge Creative has been supporting Lake Asphalt in its product launch and branding efforts by working closely with the company to design and develop new product logos for its new product lines. We have designed a series of product logos for the company, including logos for Lake Asphalt's Trinidad Lake Asphalt (TLA), Trinidad Natural Asphalt (TNA), Caribbean Asphalt Products (CAPS) and Carimulsion products. In addition to product logo design, Converge Creative has also been supporting Lake Asphalt's ongoing marketing and communications efforts by designing product brochures such as the TLA Pellet Brochure showcased here. Lake Asphalt uses Converge Creative on an ongoing basis to produce a variety of corporate newspaper and magazine advertising for the company.
